Our Community

Living out faith in Springfield through fellowship and practical care.

Life in Springfield, Nova Scotia

Springfield is a rural village in western Nova Scotia, located on Trunk 10 between Middleton and Bridgewater. The area is known for Lake Pleasant and Springfield Lake, where families enjoy cottages, camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. Local life is shaped by forestry, farm woodlots, and Christmas tree farming, with many residents commuting to nearby centers for work. In this setting, relationships matter deeply, and communities are strengthened by shared support and trust.

Our church serves within this context by offering a steady place of worship and a caring environment where neighbors can gather, pray, and encourage one another. We seek to be present in both ordinary and difficult moments, walking alongside families with compassion and practical help.
