About Our Church

Growing in faith together and serving Springfield with open hearts.

Our Story

Springfield United Baptist Church is a welcoming congregation in rural Nova Scotia where people gather to worship God, encourage one another, and build meaningful relationships across generations. Our identity has been shaped by faithful members who valued prayer, Scripture, and community life. We continue that tradition today by welcoming residents from Springfield, Lake Pleasant, and nearby areas who are looking for a church home grounded in both faith and practical care.

Our church life reflects the rhythms of a small rural community. Families know one another, neighbors look out for each other, and ministries are carried by volunteers who serve with humility. We celebrate together in moments of joy and stand together during illness, grief, and transition. Through Sunday worship, youth discipleship, and fellowship gatherings, we seek to strengthen lives and deepen trust in Christ.
